Discrimination of Languages

In today's world, we are facing a lot of discrimination in every aspects . But one of the most substandard discrimination is the discrimination of languages.

So basically in our world, most of the people think that the most superior language is English. People nowadays are following western culture only because they are finding it more 'fashionable' than the other, and on their process of following the western culture they are following the language of western people which is nothing but English. They are not only following it but also started discriminating others on the basis of language!

As far as I am concerned with my country , people who can speak in English are grouped as superior people than any other people who cannot speak in English. This type of discrimination hurts when people who are not from English medium background do not get a job instead of having a lot of knowledge. The only reason behind not getting the job is that they cannot speak in 'English'.

We live in a country of 1.324 billion people and still counting, with 23 official languages but we consider English, which is not even spoken in India, as the ultimate language to communicate. Now if such is the case, then we should officially terminate all the other mediums of  school other than English medium in our country. As because knowing languages other than English is of no use in India, people will ultimately term as an 'illiterate' if they cannot speak in English, isn't?

Spain, Germany,Japan, China & many other countries consider their own native language as the official language to communicate , the reason is pretty simple that they love and respect their own language and country. But in our country the game is totally different . Here, the only way to get successful in any aspect is by speaking fluent English, no matter how much knowledge you have.

Star players like Lionel Messi , Cristiano Ronaldo do not prefer talking in English. They give their interview or any post match presentation in their own native language and nobody laugh at them because people there knows, how much talent these legends are having in their own field and they consider English only as a simple language to communicate.
But here in our country, we laugh at our star players when they hesitate to give an interview in English. This is a great example showing that we discriminate on the basis of language. We don't appreciate his/her talent for being a star player in India in any sports rather than we make fun of them specially on social media when they hesitate to speak in English.

So, my message through this blog is pretty simple that we should not discriminate any individual on the basis of languages. People might not know English but I believe that every individual have knowledge in different aspects. Language is just a merry path to communicate. Thus we should not disrespect people by terming them 'uneducated' on the basis of linguistic discrimination. They might be more educated than us in their own business. So always be humble and follow humanity.

STOP DISCRIMINATION , RESPECT EVERYONE :-)

Thoughts,Deeds & Result of your Deeds

Deed - It means an action that is performed intentionally or consciously . So basically, what you do or any action that is performed by you is called as "Deed" and what happens after your deed is termed as the "Result of your Deeds". But before everything arrives the "Thought". Thought is something which drives your deed or action , that whether your action is going to be positive , correct, appropriate, legitimate ,veridical or it is going to be negative, incorrect, hurtful, inappropriate and thus the result of your deeds change accordingly. Before performing any action ,thought strikes your mind, sense ,or conception for some seconds and that decides whether your deeds are going to be on a right path or vice-versa. Suppose, you have seen a man dropping his wallet on the road accidentally. Then, you picked up his wallet , at that moment two kinds of thought will strike your mind, (i.e. one will be the good one- which will ask you to return the wallet t

Life - Unpredictable!

It was a dark rainy, cold night. Sitting at the bus stop near Darjeeling, a 28-year-old dejected boy was waiting for the bus to return home. The boy got a new job as a bank officer, but he recognized that this was not what he had set out to do after the first two weeks of his work. Perhaps he was missing Durga Puja in his homeland, or maybe he could have been a better army officer.  Suddenly he received a text message from the bus company stating that the bus will be an hour late. "Oh my God , disgusting" ; he said to himself. In the dark, he noticed a ray of light from a distance.  " Looks like a tea stall. This is exactly what  I need in this cold "; he said to himself. He dashed to the stall with his small suitcase. It was a tiny stall with only two biscuit jars, one chewing gum jar, and a small teapot. He noticed an almost 80-year-old man sitting inside wearing a sweater and scarf with only one arm.  The old man offered tea to the boy even before he

World of Expectations

Expectations, the word itself is a burden, right? How do we stop expecting? This is pragmatically impossible! Believe me, we don’t expect by our will, it’s our nature which forces us to expect from others. We actually live in a world of expectation since inception. Remember, during our childhood, when our parents used to return from the market, we expected a bar of chocolate or a toy? And then eventually one-day when our parent forgets to bring, we used to get hurt by that particular “reality” which we were not expecting! This is the first time maybe when we faced the transformation of reality being different from our expectations.  But do we stop expecting from parents after that? The answer is 'No' for most of us. And when surprisingly  one-day, we get an expensive toy we dreamt of , it feels like we are on the top of the world because that reality is beyond our expectations. This is a very simple example which I have chosen to explain.  Moreover, a s we grow older we fac
